This Ramsey stainless steel tilt switch is actuated when material rises to tilt the probe 15 degrees or more from its vertical position. The mercury switch is precisely positioned so that, regardless of direction of tilt, the normally-closed contacts are caused to open. The switches are encapsulated in various sizes to suit the application. (Previous model number 21-30-SS-25, also known as 21-30)

This product meets CSA approvals for use in Normal and Hazardous Areas (rating of Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups A, B, C, and D T2A, Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F, and G, Class II, Division 2, Groups F, and G Class III T160°C. Ta = 85°C max).
