Consider using a Float Ball in the following scenarios:


When the application material needs a larger surface area to push on.

If there is not enough momentum in the application material to tilt the probe to the necessary degree.

If the application material is too light. The relatively heavy tilt probe on the top of the lighter float makes the probe easier to tip over.
